Folder, File Sharing and Privileges

To share a file or folder with a class or guardian, you need to have the appropriate authority. The level of authority you have will determine what those who have access to the share can do. It's important to consider what level of access you want to grant, as this will affect how others can interact with the shared content. Make sure to review the sharing settings carefully before giving access to anyone else.

Google Drive is subject to cloud sharing file types.

In file extensions,

- MOV extension MP4
- It is recommended that the JPEG extension be translated as JPG.

Legend

You can give the following privileges to your shares with the icon / button / button next to the folders you will share.

  • Imaging
  • Arrangement
  • Delete

You have the ability to share folders or documents within the My Documents page. By allowing specific users to view folders and documents that you add, you can easily collaborate and share information with colleagues parents or students.

Add a folder

  • You can open the add page by clicking the Add Folder button.
  • After creating the folder name, the "Add Folder" button is clicked to complete the addition process.

Share a folder

  • You can click the arrow at the end of the folder you are going to share to perform Sharing, Editing and Deleting operations.
  • Click the Share button.
  • You can share with User Type and Users individually, or you can share a folder with both the user type and the specific user.
  • By selecting a user type, you can share it with all users who have that user type.
  • Click on the "Users" tab to share the same folder with specific users.
  • Search for and select the users you want to share with.
  • After the transactions are completed, click the "Save" button and the sharing will be realized.

Attach a document

  • You can add from the insertion page after clicking the "Attach Document" button.
  • If there is a document title, you can add the relevant document by accessing your computer from the file area after determining the description and the category if it is connected to any category. You can complete the process by clicking the Save button.

Share a document

  • You can access the sharing page by clicking on the "Share" option under Doc.

User Type and sharing with Users

  • You can share the same document using the User Types and Users pages.

Unshare User Types and Users

  • You can remove the user type and user from the share by clicking the red "Delete" button in the bottom row of User and User Type.

Deauthorize editing from User Types and Users

  • You can unshare the user type and user by clicking the blue "Edit" button on the bottom line of User and User Type.
  • The edit box for the type of user and user for whom you are granted editing privileges will be inactive.

The authorization granted to a folder directly affects all the documents and folders within it. For example, a proper approach would be to open a separate folder for each class. If you add class 1A to folder 1A, only those in class 1A will be able to see what's in it. If you share more than one picture in the folder, it will see 1A.
